Kathleen Rogers is an artist working with virtual reality applications. Researcher and lecturer in electronic imaging at Dundee University, Scotland, she has recently established an association with the world's only recognised university department of parapsychology, the Koestler Chair at Edinburgh. Presenting past and present work which examines a synthesis of psi phenomena and remote electronic «presence» such as in robotics, she will introduce a commissioned work for the festival. Concerned with water, the «memory» of water and teleradiesthesia, it is made in response to the city of Fribourg. Her installation, part of this commission, will be shown during the Symposium.
